I missed the original post and it doesn't yet seem to be in the
archives, but if this concerned the way the header would get
misaligned with the register columns, then I have this fixed, I hope,
in my local copy. For informational purposes, this is related to a
feature of the gnome-canvas wherein the scroll region needs to be set
correctly, or else the canvas will center itself within the container
widget.

Also, regarding the request by Jeremy to remove the black border on
transactions, I've also done this in my local copy. I've made it an
option (compile-time for the moment, but should be interactive at some
point) to remove the vertical borders; I didn't think about horizontal
borders at the time, but this is easy to do, too. No vertical borders
actually looks pretty sharp, much less cluttered.

Finally, about resizing the register smaller and getting white
space on the right side: I agree that it is not very pretty,
and I think resizing the window smaller is a valid option, but
at the moment I'm not quite sure how to implement that. Another
question then becomes: if we resize the window smaller, why
do we not resize the window larger when necessary ? On the
one hand, it seems inconsistent not to; on the other hand, to do
so seems intrusive. Comments welcome.

Best Regards,
Heath Martin
