Let's make a few things clear, because you seem confused: * I believe I asked at least mgorny for review when I imported this ebuild * I don't mind if several people from python herd bump my packages even WITHOUT noticing me... and these people probably know that. It's called a chain of trust. * if someone outside of my chain of trust bumps my packages without a review request, then I want to know why they did that * I had a lot of ebuilds co-maintained by herds, projects and other people... I don't mind that at all, but it is NOT a requirement whatsoever (check the council logs) * if changes to my ebuilds are required as part of maintaining consistency (e.g. fixing python USE flags) I'd never ask why anyone did that without noticing me * teams in gentoo are a mess, because they mostly "work" without much communication and are sort of a "badge" for people to randomly touch ebuilds they are not familiar with > I'm not quite sure how your reality works, but it seems to not share much > with > mine. Well, it doesn't work without communication. If you want to stick to broken workflows, have fun. But don't enforce it on other people.
