I don't think it's too late, no :) That's why we, among other reasons, have the IPMC involved in these resolutions, so we can get an 'outside' view of what's going on, and get feedback on issues we, as mentors/podlings, sometimes miss. I am totally fine with just amending the resolution and adding those mentors who express a desire to stay on. However (yes, there's always one of those when I'm involved :p) I think other podlings should take note of this, and remember that issues like graduation needs to be carefully discussed in public, so as to have a credible audit trail with regards to the decisions made.
