Hi Bryan, Well, the entire problem with AGM is that it is based soully on research grants and funds with no commercial value in it. That's ok for an experiment, research, but it will never be practical for commercial games. Genesis is different in that it is a commercial project. Not only will I get the money off any games I sell using it, but I can sell the engine itself to developers and collect royalties from anyone who uses it. So unlike AGM there will be money coming in for the up-keep, constant upgrades, and new features added as needed. This puts the berdon of cost on the end users who will pay out of their pockets for the technology, and not have to wait on grants or research funds that may never appear.
