I think you've got a good idea, and here's how I envision the pitching to work if you want it to be a bit more complex. I would like a series of tones to indicate from low to high as far as the height of the pitch, then another set of tones going from left to right indicating where home plate is. Then another set of tones for pitch speed. When you reach the desired height, direction, and speed, the enter key is pressed to stop the scan. Once these are set, the pitch is thrown. Of course, a fast ball would travel straight, while others do not, and you would have to judge where the ball will be located when it hopefully? travels across the plate. During the height and directional series of tones, a beep could be sounded when the aim is within the strike zone at the time of your release.
