Sure; it was more a consideration of fitting EWMH into this, where
that concept of page/desk definitions often contradicts the use of
pages, where desks are the only thing that can effectively map to what
EWMH considers, AFAICT.

I'm told that other DEs/WMs are starting to look at pages as well as,
so I'd be interested to see what happens there. Although I've nothing
to back this up with. And yes, I understand the point people keep
making about windows being unmapped on desks, and not on pages, hence
it allows for windows to straddle different page boundaries, etc.,
etc.

It's just something I keep thinking about, I am not stating a claim to
actually doing this. I don't know how aggressive you guys think I am,
but geez, butchery is something I'm only working on at weekends with
my sithe and my axe. ;) I've far more important things to consider.
