Hallo zusammen, in der aktuellen Januarausgabe der 'Le Monde diplomatique' ist ein sehr lesenswerter Artikel von Mathieu O’Neil, Laure Muselli, Fred Pailler und Stefano Zacchiroli erschienen, der sich mit der Entwicklung und Vereinnahmung von Open Source und Begriffen wie 'Community' durch die großen Tech-Unternehmen Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon und Microsoft.(GAFAM) befasst:
"Diese geradezu orwellsche Umkehrung der Bedeutung von positiv besetzten Begriffen wie 'Gemeinschaft', 'Zusammenarbeit' und 'Offenheit' ist ein typisches Merkmal des Überwachungskapitalismus, in dem die Geschäftsmodelle auf dem Abschöpfen persönlicher Daten basieren." Demnach sehen wir dunkle Zeiten entgegen. Wir können diesen Kampf nur gewinnen, wenn es uns als Free Software Community gelingt, als politische Größe zu etablieren.
