Need to follow-up here, just retested real hardware too, and all test platforms are now reporting the proper BIOS time, irregardless of TZ variable setting, as expected. (eg. TZ variable being a user space variable for upper level applications.) I might have been looking cross-eyed at the data late at night. Roger
