I don't use WfW, but I know others do, so a newer kernel with WfW
support would be a great addition. But it needs testing to make sure
adding WfW support didn't break compatibility somewhere else.

I haven't seen a recent announcement of Jeremy's kernel work. If
Jeremy sees this, maybe he could share an update on the new kernel.
(And share an announcement of where to try out the new in-progress
version so we can test it.)
