Hi all. I have an old laptop , HP Mini ( exactly this one : hp mini "hstnn-i70c" ) . I installed FreeDos on it but my surprise was when I plugged it in to an external monitor by VGA that did not turn on.
Even I closed the laptop waiting it will recognize the external VGA. But nothing happened. If I plug in a Live Linux USB , the same thing happend *UNTIL* *the VGA Drivers are loaded *and then , the external monitor *turns on *and I can see a mirror screen ( the same on both screens). So , looks like , the external VGA is enabled by software. This laptop has a very small screen, I would like to use the external screen . Does there exist some program to enable the external VGA ? On the BIOS I can not change anything because this is a very very very basic BIOS , just you can change the boot order option , nothing more. *Thanks to all.*
