You guys can argue the GPL thing to death and still not come to 
    a resolution.   How many commercial products are running on top of
    linux and not sharing their source?   Lots.   See any lawsuits flying?
    I don't.  Threats aside, it isn't going to happen.  Threats with, it
    is still not going to happen.  I can only recall two 'situations' in
    the last ten years (one related to gcc, one related to emacs) and
    considering the amount of GPL'd software out there being used in
    proprietary commercial products, those two situations hardly count
    as proof of anything.

    That's the reality, so live with it.  I happen to agree with the reality,
    whether it's theoretically legal or not... there are severe limitations
    to what GPL can accomplish with regards to being mixed with non-GPL'd 
    software and no amount of screaming is going to change that.
