The Flashplayer does cache swfs if they come from the same domain. 
Apache could offer a central library repository that would be much like 
Google JavaScript repository. Its not a RLS but could be equally worth 
it. However Google's infrastructure (connections, routing, etc.) is 
awesome, no idea how Apache could offer something similar.
