caching the RSL in the browser is already used and ready (as far as www server is properly using Etag etc. headers). Apache http is caching static resources very well out of the box (at least if it is not in clusters which may broke Etag). The most important result of the adobe announcement is that there is no global cache. But you can still use RSL for flex serving from your host.
