I personally don't think it would make practical sense in the real world to switch the Flex event handling to signals - even if there are ways to bridge.
My thought was more around a separate lightweight stripped down Flex framework that could appeal to creative coders, prototyping, maybe basic mobile app development where signals would be a more obvious fit. Thanks for the feedback, if anyone is interested in going down that direction lets join up and see where it goes. - Peter
