I agree, my point is that without competition between different solutions (IoC frameworks for example) the progress won't be possible and we wouldn't be where we are now. What is better for some may not be better for others.
At the point when Signals become the industry standard used in most of Flex projects I wouldn't hesitate to include it in the SDK but I don't think it's the case now. The other reason to merge Signals (or any other library) into SDK could be applying it to SDK classes internals e.g. to improve binding performance. However in this case the dedicated low level solution would probably be faster. Cheers, Iwo
