Yeah, you and Michael make the point that Spark is a good improvement
regardless of Fc, and I wasn't really trying to argue that it wasn't. I was
more lamenting the fact that a large amount of brainpower and man-hours
went into getting things capable of working with the Fc tooling. Manpower
that would have been better spent focusing on the core framework (and not
the Fc tooling considerations) and the component set. When I look at Fc I
just see a whole lot of wasted energy on all sides (framework engineers,
Flash Builder engineers, and Fc engineers).
This is the great thing about this project, due to the mass of ideas,
dead ends like FC/frameworks/components might be killed off before
they even waste the project's time.
