This option is not the issue. The issue is the conflict in global enum values. Dropping the 4cc-codec-ids means stopping all ABI compatibility, period. If that is what people want, the state it. Otherwise, ABI compatibility is still officially a goal of the project and this patch is unacceptable. Regards, -- Nicolas George
