We can't make any progress on my question because you are simply adding a 
claim to S's equation which isn't necessarily there; namely, that if an 
event is possible, it must happen. This is your mantra and IMO you can't 
see that it's not on solid ground, and leads to absurdities of whole 
universes coming into existence on whims of some candidate observer, like a 
driver at a t-intersection. AG
