I don't want to fuel the discussion of psycotruck vs. anything other, NO vehicles, electric or otherwise will save the planet, but:

Curious, is the road half-full or half-empty? I'd postulate that the vehicles would be considered too large rather the road too small...

I know little about EU regulations, but in the US, at least when there was a functional Department of Transportation, vehicles were tested to determine if an impact with a pedestrian was likely to throw the unhappy test dummy up onto the hood/windshield, or under the vehicle.

Neither is optimal, but one is clearly less likely to be deadly than the other.
