I'm digging some old BB600's out of my shop archive to see if I can still use them to run an old 36v Taylor Dunn cart. https://www.casadelgato.com/BB600/BB600.html
Put together a pack, and have dropped to 30 cells in series, which seems to match my old 36v PbA charger pretty well.

Only charging at about 4A, but I don't need fast charging.

After hours of charging, most cells were at 1.44v, but there were some as high as 1.65v. Then I left it sitting overnight (not charging).  The ones that charged at 1.44 were mostly sitting at 1.32.
The ones that were at 1.65 dropped down to around 1.26.

Now I'm having problems with the Vent Cap.  Since I don't have the special little wrench, I found a socket wrench size that fits - and then put electrical tape around the edge of it so it wouldn't short the bus bars. My first attempt seems to have worked - the cap turned a partial turn and is loose - but won't come off.  I don't know if these are bayonet or screw thread of some kind.  I'm guessing bayonet, but I haven't been able to find a position that lets me pull the cap off.

Anyone remember how this is done?
