AFAIK the only EVs that ever supported 43kW charging were the early Renault
Zoe Q* (Q210 / Q90) models with Continental-made drive systems This gave
fast enough charging with the original (2012-2016) 22kWh battery that
Renault didn't bother including DC input.

The R* models had Renault-built drives that were slightly more efficent, but
were limited to 22kW 3-phase charging.

IIRC 2019 was the last year you could still get a Q* model.

I can't say how the 43kW-capable charging points were distributed round the
EU. I still see some of them on Chargemap in France.

Now that public DC charging is more widely available, fast AC charging has
become less important. But public AC charging is often cheaper per kWh than
DC charging.
