Hi Folks,

Thought I'd mention that when it dropped to 8F degrees here in Roanoke VA
with snow/ice the Tesla Y 2021 door handles froze close, recessed wipers
could *not* be tilted up and had to be chopped out to free and Frunk lid
froze shut.

The 2020 Bolt and 2013 Leaf were parked nearby and did *not* have any
issues, wipers were tilted up and *normal* protruding wipers were tilted up
prior to icing, no front hood problems.

On the Tesla, after pouring hot water into the frunk lid and getting it
open, I sprayed mucho WD-40 in the mechanism that freed it up. Hot water on
the door handles got them operating again. Wish Tesla did *not* have the
wipers recessed to collect snow/ice and jam. The California 20-something
design engineers need to visit a *cold* climate. Hopefully future vehicles
will be corrected to at least match the (cheaper) competition.

Have a renewable energy day,

Mark
