Well, I assume you meant 32kWh, not kW. That means you charged 71%, so if
correct 32kWh means you had only 45kWh total. Tesla does keep a buffer
"below 0" which varies from model to model, on my 2018 Model 3
(Performance) the buffer is about 5%. Hard to imagine a buffer only
giving you 45kWh.
According to Tesla, the Aiea Honolulu supercharger is indeed Gen 3. The
Model 3 can routinely hit speeds of up to 250kW if you find a capable Gen 3
supercharger and the remaining 3 stalls on each cabinet aren't already
pulling 500kW total for the other 3 cars. (The cabinet max) The pedestals
on Gen 3 are labelled with the cabinet number, followed by a letter, A, B,
C, & D, so that's how you know it's a gen 3 pedestal. The older
generations with full pedestals are limited to 144kW per cabinet, and will
be labelled cabinet number followed by A or B. There are also "urban
supercharger" pedestals which are smaller and limited to 72kW (each
connected to half a Gen 2 cabinet). The shared cabinet design of
superchargers means whomeever gets there first gets what they need, and if
you arrive later, you get the "leftovers", but since most cars don't pull
full power for long, you shouldn't have long to wait. (Exception is
Cybertruck!)

You can toggle from % to estimated range by simply tapping on the
percent/range figure on the screen. Tesla range estimation is the best in
the business. They take into account many factors.
