Our MPPT solar boost converter we built for the Maxwell ePro tops out at
about 2kW. The most we've ever been able to fit on the long wheelbase
Promaster is 1.5kW, which will add about 15 miles a day in good sun. Of
course there is no reason a second MPPT converter couldn't be added, but
it's not a good idea to set up a system with connectors, because of the
danger of arcing if one becomes disconnected under load.
