You can still L2 charge and drive home, it just takes longer. I don't fault Tesla for disabling supercharger access to a vehicle with a salvage title, they have no assurances that it was repaired correctly. They don't want a fire at one of their supercharger sites. Bad publicity, potentially dangerous and damaging.

If you are 600 miles from home in a Tesla and they turn of the Supercharger you 
have been disabled. In my opinion the main reason for having a Tesla is the
