I disagree...The guy whined about a stupid PR event! He needs to get a
life. He also clearly indicated that his past behavior is to whine about
everything. Let me get this straight, a car HE decided to buy from BMW made
him feel stoopid so he makes all sorts of self-justified noise?!? Give me a
break.

The smartest move is to return his deposit and not even sell him a car in
the first place. Buying the car back from a vocally dissatisfied customer
would look far worse. Plus, the customers that I have refunded their money
to STILL complained vocally afterwards. In hindsight I never should have
taken them as a customer... they were far more trouble than they were worth
and probably cost me multiple potential future customers.

I would LOVE to be in the financial position to be able to pick and choose
my customers. I would deem it stupid to sell a car to this guy.There are
plenty of other car manufacturers that would be glad to take his money. Let
them have him!
