I doubt if a person values what a Tesla has to offer, and the fact that
there IS no comparably spiffy and safe car, that rubbing off an offensive
customer is not going to have an effect.

Was Jack Welch a nice guy? Or Henry Ford who wouldn't hire an engineer if
he salted his food without first tasting?

So Musk doesn't get enough sleep and being the frontman wears on him. Guy
like him has to bear up under all sorts of insufferable, ignorant, or
dysfunctional public nonsense. I have watched enough video of him patiently
answering the same questions *ad infinitum nauseam,* with real equanimity
that I am impressed. He suffers fools lightly all the time.

I don't expect any human to maintain some perfection that pleases all.
