I once dropped by a Tesla store in the L.A. area to ask about new changes to the S. It turns out the guy I was talking to was not a regular salesperson, but actually worked in the design department. He was super eager to hear actual customer complaints, just as I was happy to hear about the changes they had made (although, of course, those changes wouldn't affect my driving experience unless I wanted to trade in, and I don't). It's too bad Elon doesn't have more of that attitude. I don't know what Alsop was like on the phone, but his blog comments were right on target: the event *was* too crowded, the food *was* terrible, it *did* start way late, and it's absurd to have to wait until 1AM for a test drive, given the event invites suggested getting there by 7ish. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
