Hello.

Undoubtedly the nature of human beings likes honesty. Nobody prefers a
dishonest behavior to an honest and faithful one. However, there is a
controversy about whether being frank all the time is a wise and tactful
behavior. Despite the fact that everybody desires to be always treated
honestly, they themselves behave in a range from being honest all the time
to being mysterious and even fraud in some situations. In my opinion, none
of these extremes are wise.

In spite of the fact that honesty is associated with human spirits, being
honest all the time is not a tactful manner. you may be hurt if you share
all your thoughts with a person you do not know well in case they cheat you.
So honesty is a wise policy whenever you know your companies well, but this
is not meant that you are allowed to be dishonest with people because it
will spoil your spirit.

In other cases when we do not know people with whom we are dealing, we
should behave more tactfully, that is to hide information which are secret
and unnecessary to state. we should adopt a moderate approach in our life,
by which I mean not cheating others nor letting
others cheat you.

In conclusion, honesty is not telling others all the secret and private
issues in your life but using more tact and behaving thoughtfully in all
situations.
