hiiiii Claire!!!!!!! how r u? As far as this proverb goes I want to tell dat whatever maybe the situation or circumstance you are facing one should never,ever lie to himself/herself.No matter what u do u should be honest to confront your weakness as you have it in you to take your strengths in good spirit.For me being honest to myself is something which is really important.But,there's also one thing for sure if you have to survive in this world of cut-throat competition you have got to be smart b'coz if u r not then other person will get what you may deserve.So, my view is that if u follow this proverb personally you will never fear about anything b'coz you know what u r doin' or gonna do is not something for which you have to be afraid.It gives an inner strength.
