That will certainly get you moving, but I don't know what the real peak
rating of the motors is.  The 60 A Peter mentions might break things or
kill people.

That would be fine.  I also need pictures of the encoder labels, in fact 
that is more
important than the motor label (which you already linked to, anyway.)
If there is no label on the back of the motor, you may have to pull off
the red cover (waterproof seal) to see the inner dust cover, where the 
label is.
I still haven't figured out whether this is a serial encoder or the 
earlier version
where only the commutation info was proprietary.
