I'll bet this is the classic keyboard jog problem we've had for the 
entire life of EMC.  Occasionally it loses key up messages, especially 
if several keys are pressed by accident.  Now that I have a really NICE 
jog dial (thanks, John!) I only use the jog jeys when I want constant 
feed rate, when manually machining a one-off, but I still occasionally 
have it keep on moving.  Just hitting the jog key and releasing usually 
clears it.

But, any user with a 3 m/min machine should have a hardware E-stop 
system, and also get used to hitting the Esc key whenever something is 
not right.
