If your using the keyboard arrow keys and you have maxed out your cpu there 
will be a 
slight delay from the time you release your key to the information getting to 
EMC. I just 
tested my plasma cutter at 400 IPM on an old and slow computer and sometimes 
the delay 
is enough for me to notice the overrun. 

How did you set up the system? Stepconf Wizard?
