I'll be hiking the Teton Crest Trail next week, doing POTA activations
along the way. As cell coverage will be non-existent, I will be
relying on amateur radio (and my KX2) to stay in touch with the
outside world. I expect that this will attract interest from other
backpackers, so I have my sales pitch ready. ;-)

I've done this many times at parks and _>_ campgrounds. Technical
demos, premeditated or not, tend to attract _>_ technically inclined

which is to cross-pollinate non-ham groups that _>_ nonetheless share
some of our values. Example: give a talk on ham radio at _>_ a
