Sorry, I don't like that at all. "Magic" points people away from
understanding science! Everything we're talking about is engineering,
which by definition is the application of the laws of physics and other
fundamental principles to solve specific real world problems. The
development of tools like CESSB, and Wayne's application of raised
cosine shaping for keying are great examples.
Starlink and many of the things mfrs of EVs and hybrids have done are
great engineering. There's lots of great engineering in what Toyota has
done with their hybrids, and what EV mfrs like Tesla have done with
their vehicles. My wife has been driving a Prius at my urging for for
ten years, me a Tesla for almost five.
