Good Evening,
The sun has been quite active all week. Sunspot number 4114 flared
a number of times, causing RF black outs around the world. That spot
will be geoeffective for a few more days; maybe it will flare again
tomorrow. But I will work through the noise to find you. QSB can boost
a signal long enough to verify a call sign.
Spring is holding on. Currently it is 52 F with rain and fog. Much
like the previous four months :) But it is officially summer. A number
of new birds have shown up. I heard the first Varied Thrush of the
year. I saw a Pileated Woodpecker chasing a Steller's Jay. The
woodpecker was quite annoyed, I don't envy the jay.
