Good Evening,

Three inches of rain fell over two days this week.   There was no runoff.  The slow, steady rain soaked right in.  You could hear the forest sigh.  Fire danger is much lower.  One doe has been browsing the backyard each evening at dusk.  Oregon grape is ripe but I think she only eats their leaves.

The sun grew more active this week.  We are in an ion storm now.  Another CME is on the way.  Sunspot 4168 is unstable and in a great position to affect the Earth.  Conditions could be challenging tomorrow.  Cool :)
