You miss the point. It is of course possible to bust a pileup with good
timing and the proper choice of calling frequency ... and possibly
better propagation than the QRO guys have ... but the odds are that the
guy you're calling has a much better station than you do and is still
the one doing the heavy lifting.
Don't give yourself more credit than you deserve.
