Many QRPers seek out other QRPers. So, most QRP ops are pretty familiar with how weak signals sound. A lot of QRPers do build their own stuff as well (probably much more so than QRO ops). Ragchewing bores the crap out of me, but I know other QRP ops who love to ragchew, and do so regularly. Remember, the difference between 5W and 100W is only 13 dB....just over two S-units. So if the other guy running 100W is S-9 with me, I should be around S-7 to him...which generally should not be a problem. 73 de Lee, AA4GA ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
