I think this not so good an idea, at least until things get REALLY bad.

"Someone" at "client/customer"  made a decision to use a third-party testing 
firm. You don't want to make him or her look bad for having done so.

And put the shoe in the other foot,or in this third-party's shoes if you 
will: Wouldn't YOU like to have the chance to address YOUR company's 
problems before YOU look bad in front of YOUR customer? It WILL be 
appreciated down the road.

As my daddy never said even though it would have made a great anecdote, "you 
catch more flies with honey than with vinegar."
