Hi all
At some time during the last couple of months I've 'lost' my NAS drive
on both PC & laptop.
I've checked it is connected to both power and Ethernet, to the router
but can't find it via the PC/LT.
I have a suspicion that it may be because Samba is not
installed/configured properly.
Is there any way I can 'find' the hardware is 'seen' as as I don't want
to re-install the Netgear software in case I loose all the data on the
disks (x2).
** Equipment is a 2 disc drive box ans the software is called ReadyNAS -
Raidiator 5.3. There is a folder on the DVD is for installation on Linux.
**Looking at the instruction it appears to format the disc as part of
the software installation, as it's assuming a first time install.
Any suggestions to help please?
