A few days ago I read an article by Jack Wallen that suggested that Stacer was
one of the ten programs essential to have on a linux PC. I have always had
Gkrellm on mine but now have both. I like teh display on Gkrellm, but I see
that Stacer has some cleanup facilities. Does anyone have any feeling about
which is the better one to keep?

I have used bleachbit in the past to cleanup, so don't need Stacer for that.

Which brings me to my second question. Hardinfo gives me a list of every time I
have booted the computer, and as I turn it off every night it's quite a long
list. Anybody know how to clean out that list?
