Ola Marcos, one thing you sould keep in mind when submitting a sentence for translation is that a lone sentence, extracted from the context in which it appears in the application, might get an inappropriate translation. I mean it's not the same when you get a bunch of sentences vs just one. In the 1st case, you're "in some way" in the application, and, morevover, it's far better when you're having the application running on your screen to understand where and when the sentence appears. Then, "spready" translated sentences might loose coherence between each other... this it typically not recommended.

Add into SPIP => Ajouter dans SPIP

*Ê*tes-vous sur de vouloir ajouter cet adh*é*rent dans spip ? (serveur : X) => Are you sure you want to add this member into SPIP (server : X) ?
Supprimer dans spip => Remove in SPIP
*Ê*tes-vous sur de vouloir effacer cet adh*é*rent dans spip ? => Are you sure you want to remove this member in SPIP ?

Note that it could also be "remove from spip", which in french would sound like "supprimer de SPIP". Again, it's a matter of context. BTW, if you get translation in other latin language(s) spanish, italian or portuguese, it could help.

Regards,

Manuel

Ok Manuel, I'll take your last translations.

Now I need more translations...

Can you please translate "Add into SPIP" to french?

Also, can you please translate the following french sentences into english?

  * Etes-vous sur de vouloir ajouter cet adherent dans spip ? (serveur
    : X)
  * Supprimer dans spip
  * Etes-vous sur de vouloir effacer cet adherent dans spip ?

Thanks!

same time, the accuracy is in brackets may be superfluous? ;-)

They're both kind the same... The point is download and upload
are both usually translated as "télécharger" in french... Same
word even though it's not the same way.
So, as part of the french translators team for ubuntu, I did
refer to our guidelines for some terms like this one and the
suggested word would be "téléverser" which almost no one uses in
    real life ! (even me).
It sounds weird for most and is still somewhat ambiguous.

Another translation might be "envoyer" which is "send".

That's to say there's no easy translation in the context you're
bringing. And if you consider we (geek frog eaters) currently say
download and upload because it's not ambiguous...

Out of the whole context I'm not confident with this but : you
could keep download and upload in translated sentences since
they're intended for someone who knows what a FTP client is ! :-D
    That would sound like :

      * Utiliser un client FTP en mode lecture (parcours et download
        de fichiers)
      * Utiliser un client FTP en mode écriture (suppression et
        upload de fichiers)

    Manuel

        Hi french speakers,

I want you (yes, again) to translate the following
        sentences into french:

          * Use FTP client in read mode (browse and download only)

Utiliser un client FTP en mode lecture (parcours et
        téléchargement de fichier)

          * Use FTP client in write mode (delete or upload files)

Utiliser un client FTP en mode écriture (suppression et
