Having been historically (and likely futurely) confused by the term, I
disagree.  It is not clear at all to anyone new to the DNS what "lame"
means I suspect we could switch to better terminology.  Will it
disappear tomorrow?  No, of course not.  But if servers start spitting
out different log messages and we generally use more accurate
terminology in our conversations then I believe understandably will go
up from where it is now.
