OK, then someone has to write a RFC6761-style Internet-Draft
describing .alt, reserving it and doing so before too many new
proposals pop up (because, once a name is used, it is almost
impossible to change it). Any volunteer? (Not me, because I think that
registering .alt will be as much effort as registering .anything, so
it is pointless.)
I agree with Stephane something should be written to at least put it
into digital print, though I also agree with him there is windmill
tilting effect involved as well.
Any volunteers? Put your hand down Warren, we have enough on your plate
at this time (though I can assist if no one steps forward and/or
everyone finds it a bad idea).
