I don't believe that I've ever conflated his opinions with rape? It's possible that I've been careless with wording at some point, but while I may disagree with Stallman on multiple points I wouldn't categorise any of those as amounting to sex crimes. I will say that I've spent extensive amounts of time working with him to attempt to help him understand why some of his behaviour hurts free software rather than helping it, and was only willing to take this step because I saw no other viable approach. I also disagree with the claim that I've "taken over" this community in any way. As I said, I believe that functional representation of this community requires at least three people, and I've asked Daniel to give me access to the blog in order to broadcast an appeal for people who'd be willing to assist in that. I'm not proposing to unilaterally appoint people, but in the absence of anyone else who was willing to stand for election we clearly need to find some way to identify potential candidates. _______________________________________________ Discussion mailing list Discussion@lists.fsfellowship.eu https://lists.fsfellowship.eu/mailman/listinfo/discussion
