I have an Epson L3160, I assume it should behave the same as yours. It's
also connected to my local wifi, and printing (and scanning) works out of
the box from Fedora without any adjustment and without any driver
installation. You can simply boot a Fedora Live image, and try it.

In any case, maybe it's worth having a mention of the removed drivers
