Considering this PR is opened just a few days before the Christmas, a period when many people are not working (or significantly reduced work) for several weeks, IMHO 2 weeks is not sufficient time to wait before going for the non-responsive maintainer process. A simple comment on the PR requesting a response is probably a better first step.
