I use Caps Lock as my window manager key since I don't have any other use for it: xmodmap -e "remove mod4 = Hyper_L" \ -e "remove Lock = Caps_Lock" \ -e "keysym Caps_Lock = Hyper_L" \ -e "add mod3 = Hyper_L" I know a lot of Vimmers like to map caps to escape, but I use "qq" instead of escape. Eric
