I disagree quite strongly. The chunked-request proxy issue was one of
two by far the most often reported againt 1.8.0. We'll look like a bunch
of idiots if we don't put at least some kind of workaround for that into
1.8.1. And by "some kind of workaround" I mean "a fix that does not
require users to edit their config files."
